Yes, the myVEGAS app is 100% free to play. You can redeem real life rewards in Las Vegas and other locations without ever paying a cent into the app. There is the option to spend real life money in the app to earn points and rewards faster, but this is not mandatory at all. How Long Does it Take to Earn a Reward on myVEGAS? One of the biggest gripes about using MyVegas is the seemingly low return for the effort put into actually playing the games. Even with “Autospin” on, it is impossible to go through 100 or so reel spins before being interrupted to share your progress with friends or play a mini-game.
How to purchase and use rewards
- If you want to use myVegas rewards, you redeem them from MyVegas and they will e-mail you instructions on using them. For room, there is a link in it and you click that link to book direct with the hotel. If you call to book, they charge a fee.
- Hi, we are planning on being in Vegas for 4 nights towards the end of August this year (from Australia) and we would like to utilize some of our MyVegas Rewards for accommodation at one of the MGM Resorts but are not sure how to go about it. I have joined MLife (know hubby will need to as well) and we are also Diamond Members with Royal Caribbean International which we know gives us some.
2. Once you decide to purchase the reward, you will receive a redemption code. Don't worry, it is sent to your email as well as a copy of all of the reward details and the number to call in order to book. Please follow these instructions to use the reward. If you have never booked a reward on Mlife.com, drop us a line with your redemption code and your Mlife number first.
3. When purchasing your reward, first make sure your account is connected via facebook. When purchasing, you'll be prompted to enter a name and email address. This information must match the name and email on your Mlife account (or your valid ID if you've yet to create an Mlife account). Rewards can only be redeemed by the player who earned them and are non-transferable. If you enter in another persons name on your first reward purchase, that person becomes the permanent owner of the account and we will not be able to change the name once your Rewards account is established.

In the past, the only way to redeem a purchased room reward was by calling the redemption number listed after claiming your prize. For MLife properties, this process is a bit more streamlined.
1. After purchasing the reward, you’ll be asked to enter your name and email address. Be sure to put in the email address that corresponds with your MLife account. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to sign up before completing the transaction.

2. You will receive your purchase confirmation via email, along with a redemption link which brings you to your MLife account.
3. Upon logging into MLife, the specific reward calendar will be available. The available dates are highlighted in gold. Click on the date you’d like to redeem and follow the checkout instructions.
This process is nice as it allows you to add extra dates on to your comp if you plan on continuing your stay at the particular hotel. No credit card is required. Reminder: you will still be charged the hotel’s resort fee and applicable tax. I just redeemed the NYNY room seen above. It took about 5 minutes and, best of all, no need to wait on the phone!
